BPD, PTSD & DID THERAPIST
VIRTUAL THERAPY FOR CLIENTS IN IDAHO, ARIZONA, TEXAS AND FLORIDAAn intelligent approach for intelligent people.
Outwardly accomplished, but inwardly fragmented, flooded, and quietly desperate...
IS THIS YOU?
I help clients who struggle with emotional overwhelm, intense mood swings, and recurring patterns in relationships. You may find yourself caught in cycles of emotional spiraling, feeling deeply reactive, or unsure how to steady yourself when things feel too much. At times, you may withdraw from your inner experience—or rely heavily on others to help you feel grounded.
These patterns are often linked to difficulties with emotional regulation, attachment, and a fragile sense of self, and can show up in ways that feel confusing, exhausting, or discouraging over time. If this resonates, I invite you to read more about how I work.
WHAT I TREAT:
Borderline Personality Disorder, Trauma & Dissociation
I treat struggles that result from attachment trauma and developmental trauma, in other words, the adaptations from early years which now create difficulties being at peace with ourselves and others. Not all trauma leads to a personality disorder, but chronic pressure to adapt to stressors, can interfere with the way personality develops and ultimately functions. Trauma will in some instances lead to an adaptation called dissociation, and therefore has to form an integral part of treatment, indeed, the one cannot take place without the other. I also work with diagnoses that may not be traumagenic.
HOW I WORK:
Coherence Therapy
All psychotherapy seeks to bring about lasting change. The best evidence for true, transformational change that does not resurface, is the science of memory reconsolidation. That is why I work primarily with Coherence Therapy. On the other hand, I also work with DBT, a behavioral approach that can help a great deal in establishing healthy habits and improve relationships. Finally, I sometimes offer a psychodynamic approach and use Ego State Therapy to work with dissociation.
Working together is simple.
